Closeup you can see the work that has more recently gone into one entry to the Westminster church. The '20th Century Martyrs' were unveiled in 1998. There are 10 named statues above the entrance eg Maximilian Kolbe, Martin Luther King, Elizabeth of Russia to name a few, but they are repesentative of all Christian denominations (from any country) who have died in circumstances of persecution and oppression. The 4 statues either side of the entrance stand for Truth, Justice, Mercy and Peace.
